Being a Christian is the greatest of gifts, because that motherly love is felt with all one's soul.
The Virgin Mary watches over us and cares for us.
Starting the month of September with the Virgin of Hakuna has been a true gift.
September, that month of new resolutions and getting back into a routine. For me, this time it has been something even more special.
In my case, since I am far from my family, many days I feel that longing, but when I look at the Virgin, the word “home” instantly comes to my heart and reminds me how present she is in my daily life with me. Since I was little, I’ve been taught about the immense love with which the Virgin Mary cares for and watches over us, but as I’ve grown and matured, I’ve realized that being a Christian is the greatest of gifts, because that motherly love is felt with every fiber of my being.
I’ll always remember the good morning and good night kisses I gave her every day; to be loved, one must first love—and love deeply.
