Description
Museum of Passions – Javier Viver (Vol. 1 Word / Vol. 2 Image)
Artist Javier Viver presents Museo de Pasiones (Museum of Passions), a work created in collaboration with historian Horacio Fernández. This publication accompanies the exhibition of the same name held at the Lázaro Galdiano Museum and the Chapel of the Architects of the Church of San Sebastián (Madrid) from February 5 to September 20, 2020.
The project consists of two complementary volumes, available in Spanish and English, which can be purchased separately or together.
Vol. 1 – Palabra brings together a conversation between Javier Viver and Horacio Fernández. It also includes texts by Javier Ortiz-Echagüe, Carmen Espinosa Martín, and Benjamín Cano Domínguez. This volume delves into the relationship between art, faith, and contemporary thought, offering a clear and thoughtful reading.
Vol. 2 – Image offers a visual tour of the exhibition spaces. Through photographs and poetic compositions, readers discover a new way of seeing the invisible. It also invites them to experience spirituality through an artistic lens.
Both books are presented in paperback with flaps and stand out for their careful editorial design. That is why Museo de Pasiones is an ideal work for lovers of contemporary art, collectors, and scholars of sacred art.
