On February 11, 2021, the feast of the Virgin of Lourdes, we invite Javier Viver, an artist of great prestige and founder of the Art Made in Heaven project, to carry out a very special task. Some define him as the sculptor of the invisible.
We asked him to create a pregnant Virgin, about to give birth and recollected in prayer.
An icon of the Incarnation
We wanted an authentic icon of the Incarnation. We wanted his presence to allow us to contemplate the infinite mystery of a God who becomes flesh, who becomes one of us.
For months we closely followed the process. Javier Viver poured all his creative capacity to generate beauty in a unique piece. Although different from his previous works, it retains nuances that reflect his unmistakable stamp.
The result: Mother of Hope
The result is sublime. The Mother of Hope is a special work of art that leaves no one indifferent.
In his presence, an atmosphere of intimate peace, recollection and prayer arises. It also provokes amazement at the mystery we contemplate, which transcends the human and opens towards the infinite as a door to the most sublime.
An image that brings comfort
With this image we want to bring a ray of hope to those who need it. It accompanies women who long for a pregnancy that does not come and also those who, being pregnant, face uncertainty, fear or regret.
But her message goes beyond that. Mother of Hope wants to reach anyone who feels loneliness, helplessness or uneasiness due to life's difficulties.

This program channels the solidarity of individuals and companies to offer personalized assistance to patients facing poor prognosis pregnancies, with babies who have a short life expectancy.

Yesterday I was in Javier's workshop to pick up a piece and I was able to see his work and that of his collaborators in the workshop.
