CONSECRATION to the SACRED HEART

Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus is an act of faith and love by which we surrender our lives to Christ, recognizing him as Lord, guide, and refuge of our hearts. By consecrating ourselves, we offer him who we are and what we experience: our joys and struggles, our decisions, our intentions, and also our weaknesses, trusting in his mercy and his promise of peace.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus represents his infinite love for humanity, a love that comforts, forgives, restores, and transforms. Therefore, this consecration is not just a prayer: it is an inner commitment to walk with Him, to seek His will, and to allow ourselves to be loved, so that we may learn to love as He does.

This consecration can be prayed at any time, either individually or as a family, especially in times of need, gratitude, or spiritual renewal. Many faithful pray it in a special way during the month of June (dedicated to the Sacred Heart) or on the first Friday of each month, as a gesture of trust and closeness.

PRAYER OF CONSECRATION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

Lord Jesus Christ,
Redeemer of mankind, we turn to your
Most Sacred Heart with humility and trust,
with reverence and hope, with a deep desire to
give you glory, honor, and praise.

Lord Jesus Christ,
Savior of the world, we thank you
for all that you are and all that you do.

Lord Jesus Christ,
Son of the Living God, we praise you for the love you
have revealed through your Sacred Heart,
which was pierced for us and has become the source of our
joy, the fountain of our eternal life.

Gathered together in Your name, which is above every name, we
consecrate ourselves to Your Most Sacred Heart, in which dwells the fullness of
truth and charity.

By consecrating ourselves to You, the faithful (name or place)
, we renew our desire to respond with love
to the rich outpouring of Your merciful and abundant love.

Lord Jesus Christ,
King of Love and Prince of Peace, reign in our hearts and
in our homes. Overcome all the powers of evil and
lead us to share in the victory of your Sacred Heart.

Let us all proclaim and give glory to You,
to the Father and the Holy Spirit,
the one God who lives and reigns forever and ever!
