Mother of Hakuna, is a commission given to Javier Viver by the Association Hakuna, a community formed by faithful of all ages.
They understand the kneeling pose as a sign of humility and devotion before God and neighbor. That is why Javier conceived the image of a pregnant virgin sitting on her own feet in a prayerful attitude. The appearance of the Mother of Hakuna is far from being a classic image, the artist wanted to reflect an innovative, modern and close spirit that reminds us of any young woman today.
The sculpture of the Mother of Hakuna is a clear reflection of the style that the sculptor Javier Viver wants to reflect in the pieces he creates within the field of sacred art.
